Jino
The Jinos reside in the Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture and its neighboring areas in Yunnan Province.
Hui
The Huis are mostly distributed in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The earliest Huis came from the descendants of the Arabian and Persian merchants who came to China in the 7thcentury.
Jing
The Jings mostly reside on the three small islands of Wuwei, Wutou and Shanxin in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which are known as Three Islands of the Jings.
Hani
They mostly live in the southwest of Yunnan Province of China. The Hanis have their own language, but do not have their letters.
De'ang
The De'ang ethnic minority was previously named as Benglong before 1985. De'ang is one of the oldest ethnic minorities on China's southwest frontier.
Dong
The Dongs are distributed in Guizhou, Hunan and Guangxi provinces. They take agriculture as the prime industry.

The Daurs mostly live in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Heilongjiang Province. The word Daur means explorer.
Gelao
The traditional festivals of the Gelaos are similar to those of the Hans, such as the Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival July Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, etc.
Drung
The Drungs mostly reside in the Drung River valley along Gongshan Mountain in Yunnan Province.
Achang
The Achang ethnic minority mainly resides in Yunnan Province, southern part of China. With agriculture as its primary industry, it is famous for rice planting.
Gelao
The traditional festivals of the Gelaos are similar to those of the Hans, such as the Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival July Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, etc.
Maonan
The Maonans mostly reside in the mountainous regions in the south of China. They have their own language, but do not have letters.
Salar
