Vivo unveils latest phones aimed at photo lovers

Chinese smartphone vendor Vivo announced the official launch of its latest flagship smartphones, the X200 Ultra and X200s series, setting a new benchmark for high-end mobile experiences after the company secured its position as the largest smartphone vendor by shipments in China last year.
The move also came after Vivo’s X200 Pro series dominated China's premium smartphone market (the 5,000-7,000 yuan segment), securing the third position in sales.
The new phones debut a groundbreaking triple-camera system co-engineered with Zeiss Group, a German optical systems and optoelectronics manufacturer, featuring three dedicated master lenses, and ensuring consistent ultra-high imaging quality across scenarios, Vivo said.
Data from the market research company Counterpoint showed that Vivo accounted for 17.8 percent of China's smartphone market by shipments in 2024, followed by Huawei, Xiaomi, Apple, Honor, and Oppo in order.
