On the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the birth of Chinese cinema, the 20th China's Huabiao Film Awards ceremony will be held in Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) on April 27 to summarize and commend outstanding films.

The main visual design of this year's ceremony draws inspiration from the dragon coiled on the Huabiao Film Awards trophy. Flowing light and shadow penetrate the heavens and the earth, intersecting with the shadow of the dragon. This symbolizes the dreams and steadfast steps of Chinese filmmakers over a century in the industry. The golden staircase, like the marks of time, symbolizes filmmakers' continuous ascent and brave climb to the peak of art and the times.

The venue for this awards ceremony, Qingdao WCNA, not only boasts unique coastal natural scenery, making it a natural filming location, but also actively supports the birth of Chinese-style blockbusters such as The Wandering Earth series and Creation of the Gods series through modern industrialized film and television bases like the China Movie Metropolis.

On April 27, hundreds of representatives from the film industry will attend the ceremony to witness the results of the latest round of selections. The ceremony and related activities will be broadcast on numerous television and online platforms.
