Intelligent travel assistant for inbound travelers launched

HiChina, an all-in-one travel app, has recently been launched for inbound travelers.
Developed by Travelsky Mobile Technology, which runs the popular aviation service app Umetrip, HiChina provides access to real-time flight updates, airport information, e-boarding passes, online check-in, English-language maps, and locations of tax refund counters.
It also supports train bookings, public transport inquiries, and airport transfers — to make the travel experience more convenient for international visitors.
As the May Day holiday approaches, China's tourism market is undergoing a notable surge in consumer vitality, with travel demand rising sharply.

According to data from Umetrip, as of April 17, over 3.33 million domestic flight tickets had been booked for the holiday period — an increase of about 36 percent compared to the same time last year.
Outbound and inbound air ticket bookings have exceeded 890,000, 25 percent year-on-year growth.
In tandem with this travel boom, newly introduced measures such as the instant tax refund upon purchase policy for overseas shoppers are injecting fresh momentum into inbound tourism.
