Chinese modernization valuable paradigm for humanity


The Charhar Institute hosted its 22nd symposium on Thursday morning in Beijing, focusing on the theme of Chinese modernization.
The Charhar Institute is a Chinese non-governmental think tank specializing in foreign policy and international relations. The event featured discussions on the newly published book Global Significance of Chinese Modernization.

To begin, the author, Wang Yiwei, professor at the School of International Studies, Renmin University of China, shared the main focus of the book, pointing out that Chinese modernization has turned impossibility into reality, provided a new paradigm for the world.
According to Wang, the profound inclusiveness of Chinese modernization means adopting a spirit of openness, shelving differences for cooperation, and caring about the future of both the Global South and the Global North, working together to advance global modernization and build a community with a shared future for all humanity.
Chinese modernization is reshaping the history of global modernization, rewriting the narrative of human progress, and contributing to the story of a community with a shared future.
After that, researchers shared their thoughts on the book and offered their insights into the Chinese modernization journey, applying their own expertise in regional research, including Europe, Latin America and Africa, to elucidate the impact of Chinese modernization.
