Consul General of Italy in Shanghai looking forward to 4th CIIE

Italian consul general in Shanghai Michele Cecchi is an old friend of the China International Import Expo who has participated in all the past editions of the annual trade fair since 2018, and is ready to attend the upcoming one from Nov 5 to 10.
"I have a very positive assessment about this CIIE. I see it as a perfect platform to enhance exchanges and open new opportunities in trade, investment, distribution, cultural and people-to-people exchanges," said Cecchi in an interview with China Daily.
Around 100 Italian companies from a wide range of industries, including agriculture, manufacturing and green energy will exhibit products during the expo, he said.
The Italian Trade Agency has also arranged for exhibitors to showcase the country's culture and products at five pavilions - one digital national pavilion, one cultural pavilion curated by famous designer Aldo Cibic and three pavilion for the green energy, biomedicine and jewelry industries.
"We will also organize a national day for the promotion of Italian products together with Italian luxury brands in the cultural heritage pavilion of the expo, and we will hold a very interesting seminar on new design perspectives," said Cecchi.
